Peduli Anak received a Grade A accreditation from the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Ministry of Social Affairs. They care children in Lampung and believe that every child in the world deserves a chance to live a happy and healthy life, free from poverty, exploitation and violence. The children who live in the yayasan are children referred by the Social Agency through assessment by the government social workers. They come from troubled background like broken families, victims of neglect and abuse and orphans.

- The internship will be in the form of community service and will be held in Lampung for around 1-2 weeks
- The airplane fess (transportation fees) to go to Lampung will be from the interns
- Aside from the transportation fees, the intern must also pay for a place to stay for the time being in Lampung. The intern can choose their own accommodation and arrange transportation to go to and from the yayasan with the help of the people from the yayasan or the intern can also stay at the yayasan for the whole time they are in Lampung. This is the preferred type of accommodation.
- As a Peduli Anak volunteer, interns will assist the yayasan's staff in the day-to-day running of the foundation and school.
- Interns are also encouraged to add value to the yayasan's services such as give training or workshop to the local stuff, teaching assistant in its primary school and kindergarten or technical help in facilities and building maintenance.
- For example, interns could create their own lessons in classes and not only depend on what the teacher has prepared for the class during that time

Woke Human is a startup, clothing-retail company started by 16-year-old Gabriella Hattari, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The brand’s aims are to promote social justice, promote inclusivity of everyone and targets people of all sexes. Furthermore, Woke Human is a platform for those who are silenced and affected the by the wrongdoings of society. Our vision is to help mend the world in a way where equality thrives; whether it is between the color of your skin, beliefs, gender, and others. Our mission, similar to our slogan, is to define social justice through creative means. We strive to make trendy, wearable, and affordable clothing for the kids of today.
Woke Human, at this current moment, creates shirts which are self-designed, regarding the topic of equality and feminism. However, Woke Human also aims to expand the spectrum of clothing garments to pins, sweatshirts and so on so forth.
Duration of Internship: July 16th to July 27th (TENTATIVE TO CHANGE)
Description of Internship:
The Internship duration will be of 2 weeks, however the dates are still tentative to change. When working for Woke Human, interns are to experience the workflow and work scene at an actual clothing startup. Interns will not only learn the skills needed for the fields of marketing, logistics, design and finance- but they will also experience the workflow in real time. Interns will do their assigned jobs or tasks on a daily basis during the duration of internship as if they are actually working in a fast-paced start up.
During the internship, there are no strict dress-codes regulations for interns. After all, interns are working for a clothing brand! Interns are free to express themselves in their clothing; hipster, street-wear, vintage, tomboy- you name it.

There are four available sections for internship: Marketing, Logistics, Design and Finance. In the marketing department, interns are responsible for curating posts, editing photos, and assembling that “perfect feed” in Woke Human’s instagram and other social media platforms. Those who are in marketing will also experience a few work directed towards public relations, such as: sending emails, creating documents, and more.
Moreover, logistics is the work that gets down and dirty. In essence, interns will plan for various “pop-up booths” for Woke Human in several events. Interns will then work in the specified place or venue, selling the shirts, for a certain time period. This is undoubtedly great for those who aim to increase their interpersonal skills, where interns will be meeting customers and satisfying their wants eye-to-eye.
The design section of Woke Human plays a part in the heart and soul of the brand. Interns will work together to be in assistance to strategise and collectively create new designs for upcoming Woke Human clothing. This section will be great to those who are skilled in art.
Lastly, the finance section of Woke Human will create reports, future business plans and assist in Woke Human’s current financial situation. Interns are to work with spreadsheets, create income statements (tentative) and place their skills in business, finance, economics or accounting to this department of Woke Human.

BecomeMore is a youth-led social organization, aiming to create a platform for youth to meet like-minded individuals and solve youth issues together. We achieve our aim by creating monthly events, YouTube videos, Instagram post and content, annual youth conference and youth camp, as well as creating monthly newsletters. All of these programs above are set into different time frame within the year. Each month, we decided to focus on one Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which resulted all of our events, social media post, and newsletter to contain all information in regarding to that specific SDGs. Besides that, each year, we focus on helping and promoting one region in Indonesian that needs immense help especially in terms of quality education. In 2018, working with Indonesia Mengajar and MejaKita, we chose Natuna Regency as a region that we support. We will use the whole year to plan for Natuna Youth Camp and Gerakan Natuna Membaca (an effort to supply more books to Natuna in order to accommodate the high reading interst in Natuna). There are so many exciting projects and events we look forward doing with our interns.
The programs we have above of course needs a lot of mind and hands to help, that is why we create volunteering and internship opportunities for youth to help our programs, especially those in high school. We work closely with our advisors to ensure success, as well as building connection with other organizations, firms, and inspiring individuals. We believe that BecomeMore is a great learning platform for not only the incoming interns, but for us the boards.

BecomeMore boards will also try to create a bi-weekly meeting with inspiring individuals/organizations and gain advices for the program and growth of BecomeMore. This will allow interns to network with these individuals and possibility use the network for future purposes.
There will be limited time in our office. Most of the time will be using Google Docs and working from home. However, those working with sponsorship might have more time hopping from one office to another. Interns will also visit different schools to socialize about our event.

- Promotion, Social Media, Website Manager & Design (1): Intern is responsible to promote our programs and events through social media and our website. Intern is also responsible to update our website, create changes, and build external relations with other parties. Intern is also responsible to create design for our social media, promotional materials, and website.
- Newsletter & Youtube (1): Interns will help construct content for bi-monthly newsletters and bi-monthly Youtube Videos. Intern is also responsible to seek for speakers that we will interview in our YouTube videos, as well as
- Event Manager for Coffee Talk (1): Intern will be responsible to construct a coffee talk on the month of July. The coffee talk can be in many forms, from big workshops, small workshops, talk show, keynote speeches, panel, and many more. Intern is to create a coffee talk content and rundown based on the SDGs assigned on the month of July.
- Event Manager for Mimpi untuk Natuna (1): Intern will be responsible to help plan BecomeMore’s biggest project this year: Mimpi untuk Natuna. Intern will work closely with board members of BecomeMore, MejaKita and Indonesia Mengajar. Intern is responsible to plan for the the upcoming Youth Camp on December 2018 in Natuna Island, as well as promote and create relationship with different organizations and schools in Jabodetabek area.
